Jamey Rodemeyer, a victim of bullying, is being honored through an award in his memory.
Rodemeyer grew up in the Buffalo suburb, Amherst. He was relentlessly bullied and sadly led to taking his own life in September 2011.
His family is doing all they can to stop bullying in the memory of their son. On May 18th his family will be at Buffalo's Lorraine Elementary school to give out the "Jamey Rodemeyer Anti-Bully Award."
The event marks the first annual Bully Free 5k.
