The Beaver Damn Unified School District (BDUSD)
is making strides against bullying, as they have recently introduced upwards of
25 new programs to combat harmful these actions.
The Wisconsin area school
system has already begun training for staff on how to handle intervention
strategies, implementing annual safety and security surveys, and even engaging
the kids at school to become a part of ambassador and mentor programs. By
partnering with local law enforcement, county agencies, and other private individuals,
BDUSD plan to lead an anti-bullying committee that aims to take down bullying
once and for all.
