Eighth Grade Bully Victim’s Suicide Prompts Parents to Question School’s Actions


A Texas school district is being criticized after one of its 14-year-old students committed suicide after incessant bullying. The parents of John Reed and others in the community are not only mourning his death, but looking to the Kerens school district for answers.
According to the Reeds, their son made attempts to stop his bullying by reaching out to the principal and teachers, but to no avail. John was allegedly bullied by classmates for the past three years for being overweight.
