A Monroe, Michigan teacher is facing a lawsuit for sexually harassing and bullying students. Brianna Linkfield of Jefferson High School reported that she witnessed her band teacher, Brian Sullivan, duct tape a student to a chair.

A 12-year-old girl jumped from an abandoned cement silo and committed suicide. Her mother, Tricia Norman, filed a lawsuit against three separate parties which included the Polk County School Board, a minor, and Cemex Construction Materials.
