Edmond Aviv, 62, spent 5 hours of his weekend on a street
corner displaying a sign declaring that he was a bully. Aviv’s sign holding was
the result of the judge’s sentencing to a charge of misdemeanor disorderly
conduct from a 15-year dispute with his neighbor.
He plead no contest to the
charges, but was sentenced with 15 days in jail along with anger management
counseling and classes in addition to holding the sign. The judge created the
text on the sign, which read: “I AM A BULLY! I pick on children that are
disabled, and I am intolerant of those that are different from myself. My
actions do not reflect an appreciation for the diverse South Euclid community
that I live in." Aviv denies the bullying allegations.
