During this same time frame last
year, Daniel Coleman was suffering from various health issues that were all
rooted to one commonality, bullying.
He was suffering from stomachaches,
headaches, and physical pain in general. Even his grades were taking a toll
from the distress he had to endure.
Now Daniel has become an advocate
in his school in order to help other kids, who are also victims of bullying and
are being tormented the same way he once was.
Coleman has launched an
anti-bullying campaign where he has asked for the help of local law
enforcement, other students, staff, guidance counselors, and guest speakers.
The program aims to help parents identify warning signs of someone who is a
victim of bullying and let students know that it is okay to ask for help if someone
is being hurt either physically or psychologically.
