The Bird

Giving your bullies the bird is something that everyone envisions doing, but seldom ever happens. This was the idea behind Friend Movement’s latest anti-bullying campaign, “The New F Word.” Celebrities, athletes and activists have lent their faces as well as middle fingers to empower bullied individuals and inspire them to take action.
Friend Movement was started in West Hollywood, California when founders Elliot London and Ronnie Kroell had the idea to show anti-bully images through art and media. It was their vision to invoke inspiration and conversation as well as to inspire people to prevent bullying by enabling them to be better people and better friends. Friend Movement’s newest campaign comes with the help from photographer Ryan Forbes and branding guru Bianca Kosoy. The campaign includes photos of celebrities displaying their middle fingers with a caption that reads, “GIVING BULLYING THE BIRD” underneath.
