Mom Fears Blue Springs District’s Anti-Bullying Efforts Fall Short

Robin Jones, mother of a 12-year-old girl, is speaking out stating that the Blue Springs School District isn’t doing enough to stop bullying in their schools. The school district responded, stating that they address all bullying allegations and take them seriously.
They went on to say that all their teachers and administrators take anti-bullying training before the school year begins. Every year students from kindergarten to eighth grade participate in an anti-bullying rally. “No one would want to have another child injured and if someone believes we do then they don’t know the heart of an educator,” said Blue Springs School District spokeswoman, Cara Anger.
