A recent survey in Fargo, North Dakota shows that one in
four North Dakota high school students reported they were bullied at school,
and 17 percent of students reported they were bullied online.
In 2011, a law
was implemented requiring each district to have a plan that focused on fixing
the school-bullying problem. The survey results show no decrease in the
percentage of students who are victims of bullying. School officials believe
that it is going to take some time before we see serious improvements, but that
they are doing everything in their power to fix the problem.
