Warsaw Community Schools has been working to address the
cyber-bullying problem by providing iPads to every sixth grade student that can
be used in school and at home. Every iPad will be monitored by the school and
it will prohibit access to downloading apps that are not age appropriate for
students.
The school is providing parents with information
regarding cyber-bullying through an orientation meeting before each school year
as well.
The Superintendent understands that the school can only control the problem
during school hours, and that informing the parents with useful information can
help decrease the amount of incidents off school grounds.
