Bullied Student Hospitalized, Demanding Change

A Boynton Beach girl says that bullies are responsible for bruises, bites marks, cuts, and a neck injury that requires a brace.  The bully stomped and kicked her twice in the head while on the bus.  The girls' mother Donna explains “It's a difficult story, but one that the girl and her mother want to share to help other families victimized by bullies.”
This all happened at Tradewinds Middle School in Greenacres where the student is terrified every day as to what is going to happen today.  The bullies started to verbally harass the student when school started in August and in November the physical assault started. Donna said, "Something needs to be done, they have all these policies about zero tolerance for bullying, but unless you put the actions behind the words on those papers it's just pretty words on paper. " Teachers prepare their lessons, parents get their students ready, but this student already has her day planned. The mother of the victim says avoiding the bullies takes practice, and she's got her routine down  "Don't look up, don't look at anybody, don't talk to anybody unless you really know them."
