Bullying has left the face-to-face
stage and has reached a new level with the explosion of social media and
technology. Teenagers and college students have resorted to social media sites
as a way to reach their victims.
With the evolution of technology, a bully’s
victim is much more attainable. Whether it is through photos, posts, statuses,
or text-messages the bully almost has an unlimited number of ways to reach
their victim. The best way for a person to avoid a bully on the Internet or
through technology is to report them to their local police department or the
cybercrime unit. It’s frowned upon to give into the bully and respond because
you become more vulnerable to them.
