Bullied children are at higher risk
for many different types of health problems, both physical and psychological.
Many different studies have shown that bullied children suffer much more than
their non-bullied peers.
Anxiety, depression, and suicide ideation contribute
to a bullied child’s psychological well-being. Along with suffering
psychologically, bully victims can also experience physical problems including
headaches, stomachaches, vomiting, sleeping problems, etc. Both types of health
problems relate to each other. A study shows that abdominal pain relates to
anxiety and depression rates. The children in today’s society are at greater
risk for many different types of health problems because of the bullying epidemic.
