Theatre Takes Part in Bullying

With bullying rates on the rise, Lyle Cogan performs single-handedly to better help children respond to bullying through a musical act. Cogan comes from a background in a school setting, where she says she felt the challenges children were facing with bullies.

Lyle Cogen is touring he one-woman musical "Sticks and Stones"to help children respond to bullying.

She began the musical “Sticks & Stones” to show children what happens when you see things and don’t say anything, to show them different types of friendships, and to show how parents react to bullying. At the conclusion of the play there is a “talk back” session with the audience to share their thoughts on what they saw, which is the most important part of the act. Lyle Cogan’s play opens the audience’s eyes to all the aspects of bullying and helps to spread awareness to all ages.
