A study conducted by Healthy Passages has found that the
effects of bullying are not only negative and profound, but also lasting.
Students in Alabama, California, and Texas in 5th, 7th,
and 10th grades were surveyed about their experience with bullying.
The study found that children who were bullied in the past or currently tended
to have a lower quality of life. Those that were bullied throughout their
school years scored the lowest on measures of physical and mental health.
