First it was Marvel teaming up with
Stomp Out Against Bullying, using comic books and heroes in order to raise
awareness about bullying and creating a campaign to prevent it.
Now the video game, Ubisoft is
using ‘Just Dance’ to inform people and make them aware that “it’s OK to dance
to your own beat.”
October is National Bullying
Prevention Month. Many companies are making efforts to raise awareness about
bullying and the harassment that goes along with it. Just Dance 2015’s Dance
VIP feature will include a video that shows some of the Ubisoft development
team dancing to a song while wearing Stomp Out Bullying’s signature blue shirt.
Stomp Out Bullying’s CEO, Ross
Ellis, mentioned that “It’s imperative that every effort be made to educate today’s
youth about bullying and the effect it can have on people. Students need to
understand that although we are different in the way we look, our sexual
orientation, and race, that we must celebrate other’s differences”.
