According
to a study done at the University of Texas in Arlington these bullying
prevention programs may actually increase incidences of bullying or make them
harder to detect.
According to Dr. Seokjin Jeong
students in schools with anti-bullying programs may be more likely to be
bullied. Jeong says that students who
bully other students are shown what the staff and parents are looking for in bullies
and can get away with more bullying due to this.
