Could Bullying Prevention Programs Have The opposite Effect


According to a study done at the University of Texas in Arlington these bullying prevention programs may actually increase incidences of bullying or make them harder to detect.
 According to Dr. Seokjin Jeong students in schools with anti-bullying programs may be more likely to be bullied.  Jeong says that students who bully other students are shown what the staff and parents are looking for in bullies and can get away with more bullying due to this.
