Two Teens Arrested in Connection with Classmate’s Suicide

Two teen girls in Florida have been arrested for allegedly bullying a 12-year-old girl who jumped from a cement factory tower to her death last month. Rebecca Sedwick, of Lakeland Florida, was bullied by over a dozen girls who viciously picked on her via the Internet and through text messages.
The two girls taken into custody were charged with felony aggravated stalking. A Facebook post from one of the suspects was a tipping point for investigators. The post read “Yes I know I bullied REBECCA and she killed herself but I don’t give a f***”. The teen is denying the post by saying her account was hacked. The group of girls used various social networking sites and apps to reach Rebecca and constantly bully her. Rebecca could no longer take the pain and climbed to the top of a cement factory tower and jumped to her death. Before she jumped she sent a text to a boy she had been talking to telling him she couldn’t take the abuse any longer.
