After her daughter experienced bullying at school, a
Florida mother has demanded action by schools to prevent more torment. Stacey
Bell described her 14-year-old daughter’s bullying as damaging to her both
physically and psychologically.
Bell has taken action to insist that the school
board gets more involved in the issue by going to media outlets. This issue is
especially pressing with the alarming rate of teen suicides in the county,
which were seven in the past three years alone.
Bell said “it’s got to change, and it’s got to stop now” of the bullying
in her daughter’s high school.
